One of the things that has been brightening up my days during lockdown is getting all the home renovation projects I’ve wanted to get done for months (or perhaps years) ticked off my list. No more saying I’ll do that tomorrow or whenever the kids go on holiday with their grandparents, it’s time to do it now.

- Start outside.
Go outside, look at your house. What do you see? Are you happy with the way the outside of your home looks or is the grubby, rusty and old hardware on your front door grabbing your attention? Once you’ve finished outside, it’s time to take your hard work inside – hallway, kitchen, living room, bathroom, bedrooms, no room shall be left unattended. Go through your home and see what needs to be done. Whether you have some yellow walls that used to be white or some kitchen cabinets that are not closing right, write down the things you’d like changed and give them a go.
