Summer is finally here, and I’ve been spending these lovely sunny days in some new outfits from Yours Clothing. I picked out some versatile dresses that would be suitable for family days out and work too.
This dalmatian print dress comes in a few different colours but I think a white background gives you lots of options for shoes and bags, and of course is lovely and light in hot weather. I really love the floaty sleeves that cover my upper arms, and the wrap style front means you get a nice breezy skirt too, but the split at the front isn’t too high thankfully! I’ve been wearing this dress with flat sandals so far but I think with a bold necklace, heels and a fascinator it would work beautifully for a wedding guest outfit!
The thing that drew me in with this dress was the square neckline, then the lovely mixture of lilacs, pinks and purples in the pattern. It’s falls just below knee length on me (at 5’2) and has a removable tie belt too. The sleeves are elasticated so can be pushed up above the elbow or worn just below. It’s such a lovely dress and feel great in it too.
Next I picked a pair of wide legged culottes, perfect for teaming with a smart blouse for work, or with a vest top or tee for a more casual look. I chose a plain black pair so they’ll go with everything but there are so many lovely patterned versions available too.
Finally a picked a black pleated, subtly spotty shirt dress. Again this dress has wide gathered elastic sleeve cuffs, so they can be worn at the length you prefer (perhaps longer when the weather is cooler) and a removable belt. The pleated skirt is lined but still really light and floaty. This is a style that can easily be dressed up or down, and would easily work in the office too. I was really impressed with the variety of workwear styles available to browse through, in fact the whole site is easy to navigate and find what you’re looking for.
If you’re looking for stylish clothing from size 14 up to 40, including shoes and accessories, then Yours is definitely worth bookmarking, or see if there is a store near you.
