If you’ve just got the one child then it is fairly likely that their baby book is filled out completely, if you’ve got two or more then there is a high chance that these children’s books aren’t quite as filled in as they should be. Finding time to record memories is hard enough as it is but is something that is so important so that you’ve got something to look back on and to show friends, family and future generations! Arlo’s baby book is now just about complete even if his 10, 11 and 12 month entries were all written at the same time (at 14 months!)
Then what happens once they hit 12 months? They don’t suddenly stop doing things but most baby books end there. Well, Illustries have come up with a lovely idea called the The Family Album which is the perfect place to record and store memories that include the whole family. The idea is that everyone gets together to fill out the book, and a really lovely modern touch is that it isn’t ‘mum and dad’ specific so would suit families with one parent, or two same sex parents and any number of children!
There are fun awards to fill out, space to record favourite recipes, fun weekends away and things everyone loves, plus lots more than that! Each album can be personalised with a bespoke dust jacket too, and it’s available in three colour-ways. We’ve only filled in a few pages so far, but I plan to sit down once a month after dinner and do a few more pages, getting Athena talking about what she remembers from the month (which will help me to remember things for our monthly ‘Me & Mine’ updates too!)
Illustries also create wedding planners, baby books, guest books and lots more too
Illustries are offering another Family Album to one of my readers too, you can choose which colour book you’d like to receive from Blue, grey or dusky pink.
