I have been pretty lazy with the ‘Me and Mine’ posts that I have been so good with over the years. Normally I share a photo of our family at the end of each month but this year it just hasn’t happened until now, a quarter of the way through the toughest year ever (as 2020 will probably be forever referred to, and that’s putting it mildly!)
But finally I managed to get one of us all when we took our last long walk a couple of days before Lockdown happened in the UK. We were already practising ‘social distancing’ so chose to follow a 5 .5 mile route taking us through the countryside from a mile or so north of Slindon to Bignor Hill and back via a different route, that is part of the old London to Chichester roman road. We saw about 4 other groups of people the whole time, and it was definitely feeling a bit odd even then, but two days later it all got even weirder and I am so glad we got this photo to remember the day.
